OFFICIAL RULES:

* Unproduced, original screenplays only.
* Short length film scripts (Maximum 30 pages) only.
* Standard industry format.
* Multiple entries require a separate Online Application for each script and entry fees for each.
* Title of screenplay and author will be posted on website to ensure full disclosure of entries received.
* Judging is based on Writing Essentials, Dialogue, Character, Plot, Originality and Marketability.
* Number of entries determines the monetary amount of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners (minus paypal fees).
* A minimum of 500 entries must be received to produce 1st Place screenplay.
* Results are announced 10 days after posted contest deadline.
* Substitutions are not allowed after your script is submitted.
* The Shiver's Short Horror Screenplay Contest may be extended up to 90 days at the discretion of the contest directors.
* Early entry fee of $20 must be received by January 21, 2010 at midnight 12:00a.m. P.D.T. If your early fee is submitted after the early entry fee deadline you will be required to submit the full entry fee amount of $25.
* Contest ends on Septmber 11th, 2010 at midnight 12:00a.m. P.D.T.
* Winners will be announced on September 24st, 2010.
* 1st, 2nd and 3rd place scripts from previous Shiver's Short Horror Screenplay contests may not be resubmitted.
